“To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me [unless they are the offering of the heart]? Says the Lord...” (Isaiah 1:11 Amplified Bible). The heart of the matter is a matter of the heart. It gratifies the Father entirely when we act in faith and are stimulated by Love to help others. This is an excellent way to cause Jehovah-Jireh to become actively involved in your life.
Motivated by Love God moved with compassion, He actually gave His Unique Son in exchanged for the world. Through Jesus’ Death, Burial and Resurrection we can experience a level of Divine Life (Zoe) that was previously unavailable.
The purpose of Jesus’ Decent into hell and His Ultimate Ascent into Heaven was to give us an opportunity to be permanently connected to The Family of God. Saints, we are the pearl of great price. We are significant to Him. We are the object of His Immense Love. God gave everything to join Himself to us. Do not ever forget how precious you are to Him.
“Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren” (1 John 3:16).
Dress Rehearsal
In the early 1980’s there was a saying that was incorporated into the teachings of many ministers, including myself. “We are being trained to reign and schooled to rule.” Our stay on earth is not simply to frolic through life without purpose. There is a much greater picture we should keep in mind; “...flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God...” “For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” (1 Corinthians 15:50 and 53)Our bodies are on loan to us for a season. Our objective is to efficiently utilize, while in the flesh, our time to sharpen eternal skills. These skills are developed through our relationship with The Living Word of God. In actuality, the human experience is our dress rehearsal for endless life with The Father. What we do, or do not do, regarding the sharpening of our skills has ramifications in the ages to come. Forfeiting this amazing opportunity would be tragic.
We should conduct our lives on earth as if we are already in eternity – because really we are. “As you have therefore received Christ, [even] Jesus the Lord, [so] walk (regulate your lives and conduct yourselves) in union with and conformity to Him” (Colossians 2:6 Amplified Bible).
“And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:” (Colossians 3:10). We have been instructed to put on this “new man”. It is a new way of thinking. It is Kingdom Minded Thinking. Daily invest quality time with The Word to maintain your new order of thinking. Treat your time with Him as if your future depended upon it. (See John 15:7)
Our lives should continually reflect Jesus’ Character. The latter part of Colossians 2:6 says, “... [so] walk (regulate and conduct yourselves) in union with and conformity to Him.” God is Eternal. Yield your low level way of thinking to Him and dare to expand your mind to even think like Him. (See Romans 12:2 and Ephesians 4:23) Whatever has been agitating you, in contrast to eternity, will quickly diminish in impact. Now take firm hold of your this Divine Commission.
“The Lord of hosts has sworn, saying, Surely, as I have thought and planned, so shall it come to pass, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand” (Isaiah 14:24 Amplified Bible).
Cooperating with God’s Love will cause your true identity to surface. Your eyes will be opened. (See Ephesians 1:17-21 and 3:14-21) Your true pedigree as a Son of God will be recognized and the things you formally tolerated will become unacceptable. Lack will be looked down upon and dismissed as part of the curse. (See Deuteronomy 2:1-14) Your success in The Kingdom has everything to do with being mindful of your vantage point. Remember, you are seated together with Christ Jesus in Heavenly Places. (See Ephesians 2:6)
“The LORD is our protector and glorious king, blessing us with kindness and honor. He does not refuse any good thing to those who do what is right” (Psalm 84:11 The Good News Bible). We have always been the target of Heaven’s Perpetual Resources. When we surrender to Him, it is then we will begin to experience His Lavish Displays of Affections. Beloved, life in Him is forever the same - good.
“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world” (1John 4:17).
The Mobilization of Divine Provisions
There is a mega move in process. Divine Provisions have been mobilized and Heaven is in route to earth. The Mover is God Himself. He authorized this move eons ago. The Saints are coming. Also, included in This Holy Convoy are streets of gold, gates of pearls and the walls around His Home consist of precious stones. Think about it, He is doing this for you and for me. (See the Book of Revelations)It is not necessary for you to wait for Heaven to physically come to earth. Read the instructions of Jesus to His Disciples regarding prayer. “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). We are to expect God’s Will to be done right here on earth “as” it is in heaven.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: (Ephesians 1:3) Note the word “spiritual”. It also means supernatural. Let us read from the GOD’S WORD Translation. “Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! Through Christ, God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing that heaven has to offer.” We have been given the best that Heaven has to offer. Since every blessing has been given to us the best is automatically included. GLORY TO GOD!
“Never compare this Book with other books. Comparisons are dangerous. Other books are of earth; this is of heaven. Never say that this Book contains the Word of God. It is the Word of God. (The Bible is): eternal in duration; incomprehensible in power; infinite in scope; human in penmanship; present in application. Read it through; write it down. Pray it in! Work it out! Pass it on!” (Smith Wigglesworth)
We should ever be mindful of The Source behind the Bible. This Book contains The Actual Words Spoken by The Great God Jehovah. In an unstable world we can remain stable. Why? We are in relationship with The Author of the Book.
“I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and no disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for. Then you will call to me. You will come and pray to me, and I will answer you” (Jeremiah 29:11-12 Good News Translation).
